The calm before the storm - we have a few busy weeks coming up ahead of us!
This week marks NAPLAN testing for our Year 3 students. We have done some practice questions in class so they understand what the tests will look like, and know what they will need to do to answer the different kinds of questions. Please make sure your child arrives at school on time, having gone to bed early the night before, and had a good breakfast in the morning. We will be sending all our calm, positive vibes your way, Year 3!
We will have some changes to the timetable as a result of NAPLAN this week. In addition, from now on, our Wednesday afternoon sport session is like to move around at times to accommodate students with music lessons and other commitments who would still like to be involved. 3/4H is getting pretty good at their broom and quaffle/bludger handling skills, and I am looking forward to seeing them start working in their teams over the next few weeks.
Specialist timetable this week for ALL of 3/4H:
Art - Monday 12:15
Indonesian - Tuesday 9:45
Senior Lab - Tuesday 12:15
PE - Wednesday 9:45
Library - Thursday 9:45
Music - Thursday 12:15
In addition, when NAPLAN testing is scheduled to occur in our classroom, Year 4 will have additional time with their specialist teachers.
A quick reminder that the Indigenous Australians project is due next Wednesday (20th May) and weekly homework is, as always, due tomorrow - please ensure you have signed off on your child's work for the week, and that they have been reminded to put their book in their bag.
See you tomorrow!
