This week is Education Week, so we have some special events happening. Tomorrow, of course, is Grandparents' Day. We are looking forward to hosting grandparents and special friends from 11:30am to 1pm. From 11:30am to 12:15pm, 3/4H will be showing their visitors what they do in art with Miss Ricardo, and from 12:15pm to 1pm we will be working together in the classroom, and eating lunch.
Thursday is another very special day for 3/4H for two reasons - first, children enrolled in the robotics program will be attending that for the morning. From the middle of the morning until lunch time, the Open Working Day will be running. We look forward to showing people looking to join the MPS community what we get up to during class time!
On Thursday, 3/4H will also be visiting the Scholastic Book Fair to write their wishlists. Those who bring money will visit the book fair again on Monday to purchase what they have chosen. You can also visit the book fair before and after school on Monday and Tuesday if you would like to pay in person or buy books for little or bigger brothers and sisters, cousins, Christmas/birthday presents, etc. Due to book fair set-up being on Wednesday, we will not be visiting the library for borrowing this week.
We have our usual specialist classes this week, as well as 3/4 sport on Friday and quidditch practice on Wednesday (this time with hoops!) - both dependent on the weather. We may have to reshuffle if it rains.
Only one reminder this week - the blue notices to express interest in the 3-6 swimming program went home last week; if you would like your child to participate, please make sure you return the slip and the deposit as soon as possible to make it easier on Miss Ellis and our fabulous administration staff to process and make sure our student lists are up-to-date.
See you tomorrow,
Ang
