We're back at it tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to seeing you all bright and early from between 8:30 and 8:45am (please do NOT arrive before 8:30 as there is no supervision in the yard before the first bell).
If you have a chance this week, you should head up to the creative arts board (near the library) as someone in our class has had some work put up on display there. Well done, Ella - your music project looks wonderful!
Our timetable for specialist classes has changed this term. As soon as the final draft has been approved, I'll post it up here so you know what we'll be doing when.
Final note - homework this term will continue to be based on the homework grid. We will discuss the expectations and presentation in class time, and a note will go home explaining what needs to be done. The due date will remain the same (Monday) and books will be marked and returned by Wednesday. If the book comes in late, it will also go back out late. Please do the best you can to get it in on time.
If you have been hitting the books over the holidays, make sure you've written down what you've read! Some of you may be finished with the Premier's Reading Challenge already, without even realising it. We've read seven books together as a class so far, so we've almost hit the half-way mark already!
It's shaping up to be an exciting term! Can't wait to get started =)
