We're famous!

Welcome to Week Five! Can you believe this Friday marks the half-way point for Term Three? Neither can I!

The title of this blog entry stems from a very important visitor who came to our school two weeks ago as part of the Hawthorn Multicultural AFL program. Paul Puopolo plays for the Hawks, and participated in the last skills clinic the students took. He also interviewed a number of our students - one of whom is in 34H - and they conducted themselves wonderfully well in front of the camera! You can see the footage here.

Not very many reminders this week - just that camp medical and dietary forms are now overdue so if you could get them back to us as soon as possible if you have had a delay in returning them, that would be great. The sooner we can get them to the camp, the easier it will be to accommodate special food and medical needs. Payment-wise, the final instalment (pale purple page) is not due until the 18th, but the notes (the pink, blue and green pages) need to come back well before then. Not long to go before we are trundling off for our adventure! I can't wait!

Homework is due on Monday! Please make sure your child has completed their academic activities and ONE non-academic activity, and that it has been logged on their recording sheet.

Finally, we'd like to make this blog better! What have you found useful so far? What would you like to see posted in the second half of the year? Have your say, and take the (very quick, very easy) survey here. The results are anonymous, but it will help make the blog more relevant to our followers, and easier to use from wherever you surf the internet. Thanks in advance!

Looking forward to hitting the ground running now our timetable is back to normal this week, and I'm sure 34H are, too!

Bye for now,
Ang.
